Airtech Starts Medicare Sales Program.

Airtech International Group, Inc. (OTCBB:AIRG) announced today the Company is starting their national sales program of the Model S-950 portable air sterilization unit to Medicare recipients across America.

Airtech Medicare Consultant Glenn Shimmel stated, &uot;Medicare has given Airtech a green light to start sales based on a Preliminary Non-Covered Code for Durable Medical Equipment. Following Airtech's submittal of additional technical information, the next step would include issuance of a Permanent Billing Code. Currently no air sterilization technology is available throughout the Medicare system.&uot; Airtech will offer their product through the national 10,000 + DME/HME network. Airtech will start preliminary sales utilizing this non-assigned code. Due to the enormous size of this market and the financial impact to Medicare of this type of approval the Administration may require more technical and scientific information for research and compliance during the approval process.

Airtech CEO C.J. Airtech submitted a formal application to the Medicare Administration on October 12, 1999 applying for approval of the Airsopure Model S-950 air sterilization system. Approval will provide the physician and patient access to the most efficient portable in home sterilization device available today. Medicare covers approximately forty million Americans, many with serious cardio and respiratory health problems. Prescribing the S-950, based on medical necessity will afford the patient an adjunct to traditional medical treatment, prescriptions and drugs. Nationwide, many physicians and health care Professional have validated the technology and the need for Medicare approval.
