Airtech Hires New Chief Operating Officer.

:AIRG) announced today the Company has hired Mr. R. John Harris as its Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
. Mr. Harris will be joining President John Potter, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  C.J. Comu, and CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  & General Counsel James Halter on the executive management team.

R. John Harris, 49 was formerly the Director of Health Care Strategies for ICI Corporation. Mr. Harris has over 20 years of senior hospital management and consulting experience in both for profit/ non profit hospitals and health care related businesses. During his career in health care management, Mr. Harris has directed operations involving in excess of $60mm and raised over $16mm in bond financing for hospital projects. Mr. Harris has served on numerous health care boards and committees. He was one of four hospital CEO's of Hospital Corporation of America The Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) is the largest private operator of health care facilities in the world. It is based in Nashville, Tennessee, United States and is widely considered to be the single largest factor in making that city a hotspot for healthcare  and Health Trust Inc. He has directed numerous medical/surgical hospitals to strong bottom line results.

Mr. Harris stated, "I am very excited about my new role at Airtech. My immediate emphasis will be enhancing revenue driven opportunities and strategic relationships. I am also going to concentrate on alliances within the health care industry and help educate the medical, health departments and public school districts on the harmful effects of indoor airborne contamination and the benefits of the Airtech air sterilization product line."

Mr. Harris has a Bachelors of Science from Oregon State University Oregon State University, at Corvallis; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1858 as Corvallis College, opened 1865. In 1868 it was designated Oregon's land-grant agricultural college and was taken over completely by the state in 1885.  and a Masters of Hospital Administration from the University of Alabama The University of Alabama (also known as Alabama, UA or colloquially as 'Bama) is a public coeducational university located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA. Founded in 1831, UA is the flagship campus of the University of Alabama System. . Mr. Harris is also a member of the Board of Directors of Airtech.
