New VARs for Airspan's WipLL Product Family

Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Alliance will act as the exclusive distributor for Airspan's WipLL fixed wireless products throughout Canada and the Eastern and Central United States. The program is designed to increase the number of Value Added Resellers (VARs) carrying Airspan's WipLL products as a result of Alliance's entrenched en·trench   also in·trench

Under the agreement, Alliance will distribute Airspan's WipLL products through its Certified Alliance Partner program. In addition, Alliance will establish a designated technical support team and training program to support Airspan's products.

WipLL is a broadband, IP-based wireless local loop communications system, supporting high-speed data, Voice over IP (VoIP) and multimedia services. The WipLL product line serves a rich range of frequencies, which include 2.4GHz, 2.5-2.9GHz, 3.4-3.8GHz and 5.7-5.8GHz. The product line provides a competitive next generation data and VoIP final mile solution. It also provides a strong development platform for OFDM-A. The product can be configured as a point-to-point application, which allows Airspan to address a portion of the point-to-point global radio market, revenues for which exceeded $1.6 billion in 2002.

Alliance's CAP Program

The Certified Alliance Partner program (CAP) is a partnership between Alliance Corporation and selected Systems Integrators and Value Added Resellers across North America. Alliance continues to develop a network of CAP members who are authorized to sell and service Alliance's industry-leading wireless Broadband products.
