Airput, the vertical application mobilizer for business-critical field operations, announced today the release of AirHours Enterprise, a new private, or customized, behind-the-firewall productivity tool that eliminates paper timesheets for field personnel in construction, field services and professional services related industries.

The new enterprise service is available on Nextel Communication's 2.5G nationwide packet data network, and offers timely labor cost tracking, reporting and billing to improve financial performance for companies with mobile work forces.

AirHours Enterprise builds on the proven functionality of the AirHours product that was introduced to Nextel customers in 2001 for use on the Nextel nationwide packet data network.
