bosses today rejected union claims
that a Christmas strike by cargo handlers would hit passenger flights.
Workers with Menzies World Cargo are due to stage a walkout at a
string of airports around the country from 4am on December 23 until 11am
on Christmas Day.
Members of the Transport & General Workers' Union voted 74
per cent for strike action over an imposed pay offer of 2.7 per cent.
The union claimed the action could bring delays to Lufthansa,

But a Birmingham airport spokeswoman denied the planned industrial
