 press release from the ACI-NA. The airport's MMP program handles and processes demolition debris for reuse in airport construction projects. Materials from airport projects are stockpiled, crushed and blended to make Federal Aviation Administration-specified aggregate base for reuse in other airport projects.

The program has saved more than $2.6 million in disposal costs and $200,000 in material import costs, according to a press release from ACI-NA. The airport's MMP program will allow more than 300,000 cubic yards of construction material to be recycled during a five-year period.
