US FAA said it ended contract negotiations with the National Air Traffic Controllers Assn. after receiving a "best and final" proposal from NATCA NATCA National Air Traffic Controllers Association

Chicago Midway Airport

Chicago asks FAA to fund runway buffer system. Chicago wants to build concrete buffers at the ends of Midway Airport's runways to slow planes that overrun 1. overrun - A frequent consequence of data arriving faster than it can be consumed, especially in serial line communications.
