US Heightens Air Security After Bomb Plot. The US government heightened security on passenger planes and barred air travelers from carrying liquids on Thursday after Britain said it foiled a plot to blow up flights to the United States. US officials said the aim was to blow up the planes in flight. One official said there were no signs the attacks were directed at any one city, but they might have taken place on flights heading to major US cities. San Francisco International has a new off-site parking facility. It's called Burlingame Airport Parking, three miles from the terminal and providing 350 spaces at rates below those at SFO SFO (in Britain) Serious Fraud Office . Free shuttle service. Somewhat closer is SFO's own long-term parking lot at $12 a day. An added service there allows you to check your bags and get boarding passes right where you park. Toronto City

Toronto City Airport, the controversial downtown operation, could be without regional airline Air Canada Jazz when it re-opens for scheduled flights later this year. The Air Canada subsidiary has delayed plans to reinstate services after the Toronto Port Authority Toronto Port Authority (TPA) is a Port Authority responsible for all activities in the Port of Toronto, including the Toronto City Centre Airport.
