Airport's 40,000 Easter passengers.


A RECORD 40,000 people were expected to pass through Liverpool John Lennon airport Coordinates:

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (IATA: LPL, ICAO: EGGP) is an airport serving the English city of Liverpool.
 this Bank Holiday weekend, 15% more than last Easter.

Bosses say the increase is due to new services now operating from Liverpool to destinations such as Rome, Berlin, Milan, Warsaw, Cologne Cologne (kəlōn`), Ger. Köln, city (1994 pop. 962,500), North Rhine–Westphalia, W Germany, on the Rhine River. It is a commercial, financial, and industrial center, a rail and road junction, and a river port. , Cardiff, Knock, Dublin and Aberdeen.

On Easter Sunday the Airport's latest customer, Flybe, adds further routes to their Liverpool network with the start of up to three daily flights to Glasgow and a daily service to Edinburgh
