The magazine presented the awards at the WiMAX World Conference and Exposition, which took place October 26 -28 in Boston.

To be considered, exhibitors at WiMAX World submitted product nominations in advance and the entries were judged based on ability to make the most of the advantages of WiMAX. The editors of America's Network along with a panel of distinguished judges reviewed the entries, weighed relative merits and scrutinized products to determine the winners.
