See bis. ) announced Airoha Technology Corp., a Fabless company headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, has selected the Catalyst test system with MicroWAVE 6000(TM) instrumentation for highly integrated RF/Mixed Signal device test. Teradyne's Catalyst will test Airoha's new Airglow airglow, faint diffuse illumination of the night sky originating in the upper atmosphere. The energy in the form of visible light is derived from the sun's ultraviolet light, which ionizes atoms and dissociates molecules at heights between 40 and 200 mi (64–322  SiGe BiCMOS device used in cellular products and the company's new Airlink device used in WLAN products. Selection was based on the proven test cost efficiency of Teradyne's test solutions.
