Coventry airport is a main hub for Thomsonfly.com, part of the TUI Group. , has axed all its winter flights to the French ski resort of Grenoble, replacing them with services to Lyon. Customers who had already booked their flight to Grenoble will be offered a refund or a flight to Lyon. A spokesman said: "The carrier has been looking forward to providing a link between the Midlands and the French Alps The French Alps are those parts of the Alps mountain range which lie in France. They are within the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur and Rhône-Alpes. The specific subranges of the Alps that are at least partly in France include (from south to north): "It is now taking advantage of an opportunity to provide a service to the popular airport of Lyon.
