Air Transat Air Transat A.T. Inc. is an airline based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, operating scheduled and charter flights and serving 90 destinations in 25 countries. The airline is owned and operated by Transat A.T.  

Air Transat has confirmed that it will operate a limited scheduled service from Gatwick, Glasgow and Manchester to Toronto this winter with departures from London Gatwick on a Tuesday and Thursday and on a Wednesday from the other two points. All flights will be operated by wide-body aircraft (Airbus A330 and A310) with a choice of Club and economy class. Whilst the Gatwick operation is limited in fact it works out well for business people needing just a day or so in Canada, with a late Tuesday morning departure, mid-afternoon arrival and late evening departure on the Wednesday. Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines today was ranked the highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Traditional Network Carriers in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Airline Satisfaction Index Study. The study, conducted by J.D. Power and Associates, surveyed more than 9,000 passengers who were asked to rate their recent airline travel experiences in several categories. Delta Upgrades In-flight Experience for International Coach Customers. Improvements include free cocktail with meal, mid-flight snack, and more on European and Indian flights. The airline is upgrading the in-flight experience for its international coach customers. Beginning July 1, customers seated in the coach cabin on most of Delta's international flights will receive printed menus; a complimentary choice of cocktail, including the new Mile High Mojito or Mango Kiss, beer or wine during the main in-flight meal service; and a mid-flight snack. Later this fall Delta will provide coach customers with their own personal amenity kit that will include eyeshades and ear plugs for a more relaxing flight. Northwest Airlines switched to an open boarding process a week ago instead of the row-by-row or area boarding methods used by most carriers. First class, World Business Class, WorldPerks Elite and SkyTeam elite members plus those passengers with special needs still are invited to board ahead of others, but after that process is finished, all passengers regardless of seat assignment are invited to board. Northwest Airlines

Northwest to introduce premium lane in conjunction with open boarding. Northwest Airlines will offer dedicated boarding lanes for its premium customers starting next week at its Detroit hub and airports in Bismarck and Fargo, N.D., Phoenix and Portland, Ore.The lanes will be introduced at all Northwest loading bridge-equipped gates at US airports within the next two months. Now, First class, World Business Class, WorldPerks Elite and SkyTeam elite members will be able to use the special lanes to board more quickly after the open boarding has begun, rather than waiting in the general line.
