The London to Washington DC route, which began on April 5, has also been successful. In May Maxjet carried approximately 1,600 passengers between Stansted and Washington. With an increasing demand, on June 29, Maxjet will add a fifth weekly flight on a Thursday to the US capital. Northwest Airlines has done away with its board-by-rows policy, saying that it's faster to let passengers board when they want to. The Eagan, Minn.-based airline, the sixth busiest in Hawaii, rolled out the new policy in recent weeks across most of its territory.
