Air New Zealand was missed out in last week's scrutiny of ex-UK scheduled north Atlantic airlines. Air New Zealand will launch services to Vanuatu on Aug. 5. It will be ANZ's ninth Pacific island destination and will be flown under codeshare with Air Vanuatu. Initially, ANZ will place its code on Air Vanuatu's thrice-weekly Auckland-Port Vila flights, but from late October it will operate a weekly A320 service and Air Vanuatu will offer twice-weekly 737 services.
