Airlines Increase Syria Flights To Free Beirut Stranded. Global airlines suspended dozens of flights to Lebanon on Friday and some deployed extra planes to Syria to pick up hundreds of passengers stranded after Israel launched fresh attacks on Beirut Airport. Jul 14, 2006

Etihad Airways Etihad Airways (Arabic: الإتحاد, ʼal-ʻitiħād) is the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates. Etihad is based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.
