Airline Communications Veteran Joins Allegiant Air.

FRESNO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2000

Allegiant Air Allegiant Air is an American low fare airline, owned by Allegiant Travel Co. (NASDAQ: ALGT), headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The airline operates scheduled and charter flights from focus cities at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, Orlando Sanford  has named Mark W. Peterson as Director, Corporate Communications for the Fresno, California-based airline.

Peterson, a veteran airline corporate communications official, is responsible for Allegiant Air's media relations, internal communications, marketing communications, and government affairs. Peterson previously served in similar roles with AirCal Airlines in Newport Beach, Calif. and WestAir/United Express Airlines in Fresno.
