Airgas Introduces Full Line of Radnor Brand MIG Guns.

(NYSE:ARG) today introduced a new, full line of Radnor(R) brand MIG guns at FABTECH International 2004, North America's largest annual metal forming and fabricating event, taking place October 26-28, 2002 at the I-X Center, Cleveland, OH. The five new guns, which are displayed in Airgas' booth (#19021), are suitable for 100 to 500 amp machines and are designed to accommodate light-, medium- and heavy-duty applications.

The Radnor(R) MASTER 450 by Tweco(R) is rated 450 amps at 80 percent duty cycle on Argon/CO2 mixed gases and is designed for spray and pulse spray welding. Gun amenities include: a metal-jacketed conductor tube for durability, maximum heat dissipation, and longer consumable life, metal coil strain relief on both ends for eases of movement and maximum flexibility, and an adjustable conductor tube for improved out-of-position welds and added welder comfort. Additional features include a one-piece, blade-style trigger assembly, four trigger wires and a thermoplastic handle to help minimize downtime and allow for expedited repairs.

The line also includes two exclusive Radnor(R) PRO designs - the Radnor(R) PRO 130 and Radnor(R) PRO 250 guns. The Radnor(R) PRO 250 is designed to accommodate short arc, spray and pulse spray welding applications. The gun is rated 250 amps at 80 percent and 320 amps at 35 percent duty cycle on Argon/CO2 mixed gases. A factory-crimped cable hose allows for maximum current carrying efficiency, while front- and rear-coiled metal spring strain relief eases movement and provides maximum flexibility. This lightweight gun features an ergonomic handle, adjustable metal-jacketed conductor tube, and CE Certification that includes testing for safety, duty cycle and proper insulation.

The Radnor(R) PRO 130 is rated 130 amps at 80 percent and 190 amps at 35 percent duty cycle on Argon/CO2 mixed gases. It is designed for small MIG machines from 100 to 180 amps. The lightweight and ergonomically designed gun features a durable bladed trigger with lifetime warranty, a rubber-jacketed conductor tube, and CE Certification that includes testing for safety, duty cycle and proper insulation.

Also included in the line-up are the Radnor(R) by Tweco(R) 250 & 400 MIG guns designed for light- to medium-duty general-purpose welding and fabrication applications. They are rated at 60 percent duty cycle on Argon/CO2 mixed gases and feature a metal-jacketed conductor tube for rapid heat dissipation, an improved handle and metal coil strain relief for ease of movement and flexibility.
