Airgas Appoints Chuck Broadus President of Airgas Specialty Products.RADNOR, Pa. -- Airgas, Inc. He will be responsible for day-to-day management of Airgas Specialty Products, which includes the ammonia distribution business acquired from LaRoche Industries in June 2005. Broadus will report to Ted Schulte, division president of Gas Operations for Airgas, Inc., who also has served as president of Airgas Specialty Products since the acquisition. "Airgas Specialty Products has become an important component of our revenue stream in our Gas Operations Division and Chuck brings the sales, marketing, and business leadership to help us take Airgas Specialty Products forward," said Schulte. Broadus most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Airgas West, the regional company operating in southern California, Nevada and Arizona, for the past three years. Prior to joining Airgas in 2003, Broadus served for three years as marketing director for Reliant Energy, Inc., in Houston and prior to that, he spent seven years in positions of increasing responsibility with BOC (Bell Operating Company) One of 22 companies that was formerly part of AT&T and later organized into seven regional companies.
