Ekahau Inc., a leading provider of Wi-Fi positioning and network planning software, and Airespace, Inc, a leader in intelligent wireless LANs, announced today an agreement to integrate the Ekahau wireless verification tool, Ekahau Site Survey (ESS) 2.0, into the award-winning Airespace Wireless Enterprise Platform. ESS 2.0 is offered as an optional component within the Airespace Control System (ACS) Software suite. By combining Ekahau's unique site survey capabilities with the advanced RF prediction and WLAN planning tools contained within ACS, the cost and time of planning and deploying a wireless network can be decreased significantly. Those enterprises that want to verify WLAN planning assumptions now have a fully automated system for doing so, avoiding the need for manual site surveys that can cost thousands of dollars and take numerous days to complete.

ACS is a comprehensive suite of WLAN management software, providing enterprise IT staff with detailed visibility into the RF domain for easy wireless configuration, automated network optimization, rapid troubleshooting, and the creation of enterprise-wide WLAN policies.
