Aircraft Valuations on the ASO Site

Aircraft Shopper Online (ASO), the leading online marketplace for pre-owned aircraft, today announced a strategic alliance with PRIMEDIA Business Directories & Books allowing the sale of PRIMEDIA's Aircraft Bluebook-Price Digest(R) on the ASO website (www.ASO.com).

The relationship is the first step in a PRIMEDIA plan to offer custom "pay-per-view" valuations of individual aircraft through ASO, giving site visitors ready access to pricing and loan values on the specific aircraft they are considering for purchase.

Under the limited exclusive agreement, ASO is the only Internet-based aircraft listing service authorized to sell the Aircraft Bluebook and related services. The Aircraft Bluebook is now available on ASO.com at the regular price of $125 for a single printed copy or CD-ROM of the current issue, $265 for a one-year printed subscription, or $275 for a one-year CD-ROM subscription. Plane-by-plane valuation reports are expected to be offered later this year, marking the first time that PRIMEDIA will provide that service over the Internet.

Both initiatives support the recent expansion of PRIMEDIA's distribution channel for the Aircraft Bluebook and related services from its traditional customer base of aircraft dealers to include owners and operators. The Aircraft Bluebook is the leading reference on pricing and loan values for all types of general aviation aircraft and helicopters, offering vital statistics on subjects including avionics values, airworthiness directives, engine overhaul costs, and modifications and conversions.

ASO has exclusive Internet distribution rights to Conklin and de Decker's "Cost Evaluators," which enumerate the direct costs, fixed costs and annual budget for a wide variety of turbine and piston-powered aircraft.

The PRIMEDIA agreement is the second relationship designed to expand the number of services on the ASO site. Additional alliances are under negotiation.
