European Skybus, owned by Paul Stoddart Paul Stoddart, born May 26, 1955, is an Australian millionaire and former owner of the Minardi Formula One racing team. He has now taken the Minardi brand into the Champ Car World Series after his purchase of the former CTE-HVM team which he has renamed Minardi Team USA.  formerly of Minardi (now Red Bull), has acquired five MD-82 aircraft from China Southern with a view to offering them on charter. Sister company Bournemouth-based European Aviation Air Charter European Aviation Air Charter is an airline based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. It operates ad hoc charter services, VIP flights, and inclusive-tour and sub-charter flights, as well as ACMI wet leases for other airlines. Its main base is Bournemouth Airport.  (EAAC EAAC Excitatory Amino Acid Carrier ), has now parked its elderly Boeing 747 fleet and will this year operate five Boeing 737-200s on a program that includes charter operations and backing up budget carriers. Airlines, manufacturers work on identification technology. Auto-ID Labs The Auto-ID Labs network is a research group in the field of networked radio-frequency identification (RFID) and emerging sensing technologies. The labs consist of seven research universities located on four different continents.  in September launched a program to help the aerospace industry adopt identification technology. The program examines how the technology, which was developed for consumer products, should be tailored for aerospace. The Air Transport Association is working with aircraft makers and other companies to develop a system. February 7, 2006

Airbus tests superjumbo jet in extreme cold. Airbus is conducting cold-weather testing of its A380 superjumbo jet in Iqaluit, Nunavut, a Canadian town just south of the Arctic Circle Arctic Circle, imaginary circle on the surface of the earth at 66 1-2°N latitude, i.e., 23 1-2° south of the North Pole.
