Gol exercised 20 737-800 options, bringing its firm orders for the type to 87, the Brazilian LCC (Leadless Chip Carrier, Leaded Chip Carrier) See leadless chip carrier, CLCC and PLCC.

Bombardier, Caribbean Star Airlines Caribbean Star Airlines is an airline based in Antigua and Barbuda. It operates scheduled passenger services in conjunction with Leeward Islands Air Transport (LIAT) to destinations in the eastern Caribbean. Its main base is VC Bird International Airport, St John's[1].  

Caribbean Star Airlines took delivery of a Bombardier DHC-8-Q300, the fourth new aircraft added this year as part of its fleet expansion program. In addition to the four Q300s, the carrier operates seven Dash 8s to 12 Caribbean destinations. Separately, it reinstated plans for service between Trinidad and Curacao. Nov 1, 2006

Brazil's Tam Linhas agrees to buy four 777-300s. Brazilian airline Tam Linhas Aereas SA said Tuesday it is buying four extended-range 777-300 wide-body airliners from Boeing for the first time.
