Martinair will be P&W's European launch customer at the engine provider's new EcoPower service center station at Schiphol. "The engine washing process is a closed-loop, environmentally friendly system that uses atomized water to wash aircraft engines," P&W said in a statement. "Not only does the system avoid potentially harmful runoff from the washing process, but it also is more effective and much faster than traditional engine-washing processes."
