Veronica Biggins and Robert Fornaro have been elected to the AirTran Holdings Board of Directors. The election took place at the company's annual shareholders meeting this morning.

Before joining US Airways, Fornaro held the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing Planning, at Northwest airlines where his responsibilities included route strategy and pricing, as well as managing Northwest's international alliances and regional airline partners.
