AirTran Airways' traffic, measured by revenue passenger miles (RPMs), increased by 30.9 percent for the month of February 2003 versus the prior year on 24.9 percent more capacity, measured by available seat miles Available seat miles (ASM) is a measure of an airline flight's passenger carrying capacity. It is equal to the number of seats available multiplied by the number of miles flown. This measures an airlines capacity for transporting passengers.  (ASMs), resulting in a load factor of 66.2 percent, compared to 63.2 percent for February 2002. The airline enplaned 757,515 passengers in the month of February 2003, a 20.1 percent increase from February 2002.
