, Local 528. The five-year contract, which is subject to membership ratification, replaces the existing contract, which becomes amendable on October 1, 2000.

The new 60-month contract includes provisions for increased wages, benefits and job security for the airline's aircraft mechanics and inspectors. There are 350 Teamsters' members employed at AirTran Airways.
