AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), today launched a special one-day sale for travel from Pittsburgh. This sale on seven-day advance purchase tickets is valid to all cities served by AirTran Airways from Pittsburgh. These fares are available for purchase for one day only, Thursday, November 15, 2001, with all travel completed by March 20, 2002.

These fares are discounted up to 55 percent from AirTran Airways' everyday affordable fares. Like all AirTran Airways fares, they require neither roundtrip purchase nor a Saturday night stay. Travelers can save an additional five dollars on sale fares by booking through http://www.airtran.com. Tickets are also available for purchase through travel agents or AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN.
