AirTran Airways Launches New Service to Palm Beach County; Airline Celebrates 40th Destination to West Palm Beach and More than 400 Daily Flights Nationwide.

ORLANDO, Fla--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 2002

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), today began new daily nonstop service to Palm Beach International Airport, the low-fare airline's 40th destination. Initial service will include three daily nonstop flights between West Palm Beach and Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport, connecting the airline's customers to the picturesque locales of Palm Beach County.

With the new flights to West Palm Beach, AirTran Airways will offer more than 400 flights daily to cities nationwide. All flights to/from West Palm Beach will operate using new Boeing 717 aircraft, the most modern, environmentally friendly aircraft in its class with features such as 100 percent fresh circulated cabin air and EasyFit overhead bins.

Rules and Restrictions: All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable, and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare.
