AirTran Airways Increases Service Between Gulfport/Biloxi and Atlanta.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2000

AirTran Airways AirTran Airways is a low-cost airline that is a Delaware corporation with headquarters in Orlando, Florida, USA and is a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings. AirTran operates over 750 daily flights throughout the eastern USA and the Midwest, including over 270 daily departures from  today announces additional nonstop service between Gulfport/Biloxi and Atlanta, to meet growing demand for affordable business air travel in the two markets.

Additional service from Atlanta to Gulfport/Biloxi will begin June 10, 2000. Additional service from Gulfport/Biloxi to Atlanta will begin June 11, 2000.

"The Gulfport/Biloxi and Atlanta business communities have been extremely receptive to AirTran Airways, indicating strong demand for affordable air travel between the two markets. Additional service will make AirTran Airways' affordable fares and Caring Customer Service more accessible, for Gulfport/Biloxi-Atlanta and travel to the 30 other cities the airline serves."
