AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), today announced a 72-hour sale with new discounts on ten-day advance purchase tickets to and from Atlanta, Ga. These fares are good for travel through October 23, 2002, and are available for purchase through May 23, 2002. Sale fares are not valid for travel on Fridays and Sundays.

Like all AirTran Airways fares, these fares require neither a roundtrip purchase nor a Saturday night stay. Travelers can purchase these special fares at http://www.airtran.com.
