AirTran Airways Adds New Features to AirTran.com; No Change Fees Within Four Hours of Booking On AirTran.com.

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), today announced the launch of new customer-friendly capabilities on the airline's Web site, AirTran.com. Effective immediately, AirTran Airways customers now can retrieve, make changes to or cancel their reservations, all from the convenience of their home or office via the Internet. These improvements to AirTran.com are available for all users of the Web site - travel agents, corporate accounts, A-Plus Rewards members and general public.

Customers can easily retrieve and view any reservation that was purchased using a credit card by providing the following information:

-- Confirmation number

-- Passenger's first and last name

-- Origin and destination of the flight

-- Credit card number

For all reservations originally booked at AirTran.com, customers will be able to make changes or cancellations at AirTran.com per the following guidelines:

-- Reservations may be canceled or changed up to one hour prior

to departure time.

-- Changes and cancellations may be made to the customer's full

flight itinerary or to just the individual departing or

returning segment.

-- Changes may be made to the flights, travel dates, city pairs

or fare class. Customers also will be able to change the seat

assignment, if the fare provides advance seat assignment.

Customers will not be able to change the number of passengers

or passenger names.

-- Change and cancellation fees will be waived if made within

four hours of the original booking.
