AirTouch Confirms Discussions.SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 1999--AirTouch Communications (NYSE:ATI) today confirmed that discussions are taking place with Bell Atlantic (NYSE:BEL) that could lead to a possible combination between the two companies. The AirTouch Board of Directors has not approved a transaction and significant issues still remain unresolved.
