AirTouch Cellular Donates Digital Phones and Money to Idaho Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1998--Last year in Idaho, 104 people were killed and 1,500 injured by drunk drivers.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is focused on eliminating drunk driving and supporting victims of this crime. Today, AirTouch is supporting the Idaho chapter of MADD through a donation of $3,000 and three AirTouch Digital phones, including local airtime.

MADD plans to use the digital phones and money to support its statewide Victim Advocates Program, which provides support and guidance to drunk driving victims and their families 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
