AirTouch Cellular Donates $9,300 to Susan G. Komen Foundation.


PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 1998--AirTouch Cellular recently donated $9,300 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help with the fight against breast cancer.

The money was raised during a special in-store promotion at AirTouch retail stores throughout Oregon, and as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness month Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure.  in October.

"As this year's presenting sponsor of the Race for the Cure event in Oregon, AirTouch wanted to find a way to do even more to benefit breast cancer research.
