Based on existing and 3G CDMA technology (cdmaOne(TM), cdma2000 1x/1xEV), the SB3000, will allow Handspring users to wirelessly surf the web, exchange e-mail and make voice calls from a single device at 14.4 kbps. As 3G CDMA digital service becomes available, the SB3000 can be upgraded to support cdma2000 1x with data speeds of up to 153 kbps, power saving and voice capacity enhancements.
