AirPrime Inc., a leading provider of CDMA wireless access solutions for the OEM market, today announced that the company is showcasing its suite of third generation (3G) wireless PC Cards, embedded modules, and its Springboard(TM) Module for the Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) during the CTIA Wireless 2002 show being held this week at the Orange County Convention Center The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center in Central Florida. Designed for the OEM market, AirPrime's family of embedded modules, which also includes the EM3200 and EM3000 series for CDMA2000 1X networks, enable mobile computing Using a computing device while in transit. , AirPrime is also showcasing its new family of wireless PC cards in its booth. The PC cards will allow wireless subscribers to access e-mail, corporate networks, and Internet sites and services from most notebook computers with PC card slots.

In addition to the PC5200 series, AirPrime's PC Card family includes the PC3200 series, which is designed to support CDMA2000 1X for fast packet data throughput with bi-directional data rates of up to 153.6 kbps.

AirPrime is also conducting live demonstrations of its SB3000 Springboard module for Handspring Visor handheld computers. A CDMA2000 1X-ready data/voice module, the SB3000 turns the Handspring Visor handheld computer into a wireless data and voice companion.
