AirNet Communications Receives Order For GSM Community Cordless Electronia to Deploy ``Direct Link'' AdaptaCell BTS In Middle East.

MELBOURNE, Fla. -- AirNet Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:ANCC), the technology leader in software defined base station products for wireless communications, today announced that it has received a purchase order for a validation system from Electronia, an authorized OEM reseller doing business in the Middle East. The AdaptaCell(R) 4000 base station is being sold with Direct Link(TM), AirNet's latest technology which enables direct connection of the base station to a PRI-enabled PBX or central office exchange.
