SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- London-Based Ian Schenkel Brings 15 Years of Technology Expertise to AirMagnet to Build Upon High Demand for Company's Industry-Leading WLAN Assurance Products in Europe and the Middle East

AirMagnet Inc., the award-winning leader in wireless network assurance, announced that its strong, continued growth in the EMEA region has led the company to open a dedicated EMEA office in London as well as appoint Ian Schenkel as its managing director. With a rapidly expanding global customer base, AirMagnet has established its UK office to provide consistently high levels of customer service and sales support as it grows its EMEA business. With more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry, in addition to extensive senior business management experience, Schenkel is well positioned to head up AirMagnet's EMEA activities and continue strengthening its presence throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Schenkel most recently served as vice president of EMEA for Sygate Technologies, where he was responsible for establishing Sygate's overall regional presence. As a result of building an EMEA sales, customer service and operations presence for Sygate, Schenkel's efforts resulted in triple-digit regional revenue growth.
