AirLiance Materials Appoints Claudia Taylor-Bodmer to Board of Managers.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 1999--

Claudia Taylor-Bodmer, General Manager of Materials Management Materials management is the branch of logistics that deals with the tangible components of a supply chain. Specifically, this covers the acquisition of spare parts and replacements, quality control of purchasing and ordering such parts, and the standards involved in ordering,  at United Airlines, was appointed to AirLiance Materials' Board of Managers.

Airliance Materials, a joint venture between United Airlines, Air Canada and Lufthansa Technik, provides a wide range of supply chain related products and services to the air transport industry.

As a new board manager, Taylor-Bodmer brings with her 25 years of airline industry experience. Previous positions at United Airlines include General Manager of Aircraft Maintenance, General Manager of Component Maintenance and Director of Resource Planning Resource planning may refer to:
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP)
  • Manufacturing resource planning (MRP and MRPII)
  • Distribution Resource Planning (DRP)
  • Human resources (HR)

In addition, there were prior assignments in the areas of supply and distribution, engineering, quality assurance, labor relations and maintenance planning.
