AirGate PCS, Inc., (Nasdaq/NM:PCSA), a Sprint PCS (NYSE:PCS) Network Partner, issued the following correction to a press release issued earlier today, June 22, 2000. In the release, the Company announced the launch of Sprint PCS service for consumers and businesses in the Greenwood, South Carolina market. The Company would like to confirm that they are in the final stages of building out the network in this market and expect to launch service in Greenwood, South Carolina in approximately six weeks. The Company regrets the error.
