Helm will oversee all of AirFiber's company operations focusing on revenue growth and evolution to profitability. Helm will also focus on the expansion and development of AirFiber's wireless optical networking product line and maximizing the company's market share in the burgeoning wireless optical networking market. Helm previously served as general manager of Intel Corp.'s Network Equipment Division, which was formed in part by the acquisition of IPivot Inc., in October 1999. Before the acquisition by Intel, Helm served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of IPivot, where he led the venture capital funding and all facets of the company. During his tenure, Helm and IPivot introduced many new category-defining products to the market.

Prior to launching IPivot, Helm served as vice president and general manager of @Work, a unit of the @Home Corp. geared toward providing broadband services to the business community. Helm's vision created @Work, which he managed from inception through initial revenue attainment. Helm has also held several executive positions with US WEST !nterprise Network Services, and oversaw the initial expansion of the company's national deployment of data services.
