Mr. Malik has worked for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for the past 16 years. More than a decade of project management experience in the security, networking and IT fields prepared Mr. Malik for his current role managing the Network Security Team within the Cyber Security Program. The Network Security Team focuses on three main security areas: intrusion detection systems (both wireless and wired), vulnerability assessments, and network security infrastructure.

Mr. Thomas brings to AirDefense demonstrated ability to apply a keen understanding of industry trends and technology to customer requirements. Mr. Thomas is a subject matter expert in 802.11 and IPSec. With his blend of technical and business savvy, he has held product manager and technical lead positions at VeriSign, Sun Microsystems and IQ Software.

As part of the United States Department of Energy The United States Department of Energy (DOE) is a Cabinet-level department of the United States government responsible for energy policy and nuclear safety. Its purview includes the nation's nuclear weapons program, nuclear reactor production for the United States Navy, , LLNL subscribes to a strict "no wireless policy" and uses AirDefense for accurate rogue detection. LLNL has more than 100 sensors deployed over a one-mile radius.
