Sales for the three-month period ended March 31, 2005 increased by $15.5 million or 35% compared to the same period in 2004, while net income from continuing operations increased by 22% to $1.6 million. The increase in volume is due primarily to strong demand for rubber compounds used in the energy generation and transportation industries.
