Air2Web Launches 2CRM, Mobile Solutions for FFA, SFA -Including Siebel-, and Call Center Applications; CSX Intermodal Implements 2CRM.

ATLANTA -- Air2Web, the leading wireless solutions provider, has launched 2CRM. 2CRM is a set of mobile and wireless solutions that gives enterprises mobile access to data from their existing Field Force Automation (FFA), Sales Force Automation systems (including Siebel), Call Center, and Custom applications. 2CRM works across any wireless carrier and on any Palm, J2ME handset, BREW device, RIM Blackberry (J2ME or C++), Pocket PC, or WIN CE device.

CSX Intermodal Inc. (CSXI) is utilizing 2CRM to wirelessly enable its back-end, Field Service application. CSXI is a transcontinental intermodal transportation service provider, offering transportation for domestic containers and trailers, premium parcel business, and international steamship containers over a network of dedicated intermodal facilities.

For CSXI, Air2Web is providing bi-directional, wireless access to their back-end trucking operations system. The mobile application, which can be accessed even while out of network coverage, enables CSXI's drivers to wirelessly send, as well as receive data to and from their trucking operations system. The drivers are using the application to notify dispatch of the status of a shipment, including when a shipment was picked up and when it was dropped off. In turn, dispatch is able to alert the drivers of upcoming shipments and the drivers can wirelessly respond with their availability. Currently, there are 425 CSXI drivers using the wireless application on RIM Blackberries over various wireless carriers.
