Air-bladder Hip Orthosis.


Restorative Medical's RestAir[TM] Hip Orthosis orthosis /or·tho·sis/ (or-tho´sis) pl. ortho´ses   [Gr.] an orthopedic appliance or apparatus used to support, align, prevent, or correct deformities or to improve function of movable parts of the body.  features air-bladder technology to fit residents who have lost range of motion. The air bladders flex to allow the user to work through their neurological tone to reach muscle inhibition, putting the user in control of the gradual increase toward extension. The device, which conforms to the shape of the user's thighs, addresses severe hip adduction adduction /ad·duc·tion/ (ah-duk´shun) the act of adducting; the state of being adducted.
