Air quality.

You might have noticed some familiar voices last week forecasting the weather on KARN-AM, 920.

KARK-TV, Channel 4, and KARN teamed up, and the NBC affiliate's meteorologists--Brett Cummins, Mike Francis and Jason Kadah--are now giving weather updates "on the nines" and will tag team with the station for severe weather coverage.

"The two stations will also combine resources during severe weather to make sure local listeners and viewers have more comprehensive information than ever before," said Rob Thomas, creative services director at KARK. "In essence, we'll have twice as many crews covering important severe weather events."

KARN had been a longtime customer of the AccuWeather service and frequently featured live interviews with Joe Sobel, who is sort of the Michael Jordan of meteorology, but dropped the service in favor of KARK.
