Unlike wedge-type mechanical chucks, NimCor's self-centering pneumatic air chuck adapters are easily inserted and removed without damaging cores. Air valves are easily changed without disturbing other chuck components. Chucks can be pneumatically linked using an optional interconnecting air system to allow single-point inflation of multiple chucks in a single shaft setup. Air chuck adapters are readily available with or without core stop flanges to fit cores from 3" up to 16" in diameter.
