Air Science USA unveils new mobile ductless fume hood.

The latest mobile ductless fume hood from Air Science USA is compact enough (77.5" in height) to pass under standard doorways. The product's design allows for easy installation, and the base is mounted on large heavy-duty wheels that enable the hood to be rolled smoothly between locations. Its multi-layered EDU filter has been independently tested to have a 99.9% filtration efficiency for chemicals normally found in a typical chemistry curriculum, according to the Fort Myers, FL-based company. Filters for various other applications are available; all filters have been designed to control cabinet airflow and ensure even absorption across the filter bed. Other features of the Mobile EDU include storage space under the fume hood, a control panel with safety information listed for reference and pass-through ports at the rear of the enclosure (an ideal spot for electrical cords). In addition, there are optional water and gas services with quick release connections. The units exceed safety standards issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, American National Standards Institute, British Standards Institution and Association Francaise de Normalisation safety standards.
