During the last six months, Air Products' homecare subsidiary and one of the largest healthcare providers in the United States, Air Products Medical, needed to centralize its IT infrastructure after acquiring several medical homecare services companies located throughout Europe. With such vigorous acquisition activity, Air Products' IT staff was challenged to provide anytime, anywhere, any-device, any-connection access for 250 additional users across the extended enterprise, while preventing technical interruptions associated with integrating newly acquired business units into the parent organization.

Air Products' IT staff used Citrix(R) MetaFrame(R) Presentation Server to centrally roll out applications from its Allentown, Penn. headquarters and provide remote access to employees no matter where they are.
